A Party with a Powerful Organizing Ability and Combat Efficiency
The history of building up the Workers’ Party of Korea by Chairman Kim Jong Il tells of his efforts for developing it into an invincible party.
One day, talking to officials on the need for all the organizations of the Workers’ Party of Korea to launch a powerful struggle to accomplish the revolutionary cause of Juche by enhancing the combat efficiency and leadership role of the Party, holding aloft the slogan “Let us make a revolutionary climate prevail throughout the Party!” he clarified the ways and means to this end.
In the days of leading the Korean revolution he regarded the work of creating the Party climate as a main link in the whole chain of efforts for remarkably enhancing the sense of organization and discipline within it, and paid close attention to it–establishing a well-regulated work system across it, improving its leadership role in all fields of socialist construction by thoroughly applying the Juche-oriented leadership principles and methods in its work, and ensuring that its organizations at all levels played the role of a powerful organizer and mobilizer in the struggle to carry out its policies as the political general staff of their units and that its officials became standard-bearers.
On the road of his ceaseless field guidance trips he led the officials to acquire the trait of going deep among the masses and working by relying on them.
He saw to it that iron discipline and an order were established, whereby the Party’s decisions and directives were transmitted from its Central Committee to its grassroots organizations without a hitch and the whole Party moved as one under the unified leadership of the Central Committee.
Thanks to his wise guidance, the WPK developed into a powerful party that gives full display to the inexhaustible strength of the masses, into a party with an unexcelled organizing ability and combat efficiency, with which it translates into reality without fail any tasks however tremendous and challenging they might be once it is determined to do.
